Karma CCS-Dark Fantasy RP-Rules Version 2.5
YOU MUST READ THESE RULES BEFORE CONTINUING ANY FURTHER, IGNORANCE OR FAILURE TO READ THESE RULES IS NOT A VALID EXCUSE FOR VIOLATIONS. BY ENTERING KARMA YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL FOLLOW ALL RULES OF KARMA AND THE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE COMMUNITY COMBAT SYSTEM (CCS), WHICH IS IN USE ON THIS SIM. THIS IS MANDATORY IN ALL RP AREAS OF THE SIM.
~By entering Karma , you agree to the use of chat logs by Karma Staff to resolve any issues that may arise while you are on the sim. Chat logs will only be used if there is issue with your player on the sim and will never be used in any other form or shown to anyone who is not involved or mediating your issue, without your consent.
~You agree that you are 18 years of age or older. Karma is an adult sim, you must be age verified with LL to enter.
*ANY INFORMATION NOT COVERED IN THESE RULES IS SUBJECT TO DETERMINATION BY SIM ADMINISTRATION.*
~ABSOLUTELY NO CHILD AVATARS AT ANY TIME ARE ALLOWED ON KARMA, NO ARGUMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS. AVATARS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD IN APPEARANCE. CHILD AVATARS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EJECTED FROM THE SIM.
~YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE AN ASSHOLE.
*Combat
-ABSOLUTELY NO COMBAT ALLOWED WITHOUT AN ENABLE , COMBATIVE CCS METER. YOUR CCS METER MUST BE READABLE AND VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES.
*Weapons
~Guns & firearms are not allowed on Karma at anytime. Allowed weapons include, melee, spears, bows, & darts. Second chance gear (sashes, belts, etc) are not allowed on Karma. All weapons must be CCS approved weapons.
*Com & Non-Com
~Do not remove or turn off your meter during combat or after defeats.If you do not wish to fight, you must go non-com & leave the RP area BEFORE you become involved in combat. Roleplaying is required before or immediately after an attack. If you attack someone you MUST have a VALID IC reason.
*OOC
~OOC insults, behavior and dialogue that is generally viewed as offensive has no place in Karma and will not be tolerated, this includes but is not limited to RL racism, RL political views, RL religious views, RL sexual orientation and lifestyle choices. Discrimination of any type, and use of personal information will not be tolerated, and any of the above will earn you a permamnent ban from the sim, with further action taken within the CCS system. Please use brackets (( )) when speaking OOc, and keep OOC chat to a minimum or in IM.
*Camping
~XP camping (idling in the sim, parking your avatar and leaving your keyboard, etc.) Is strictly prohibited.
**RESIDENTS: feel free to hang out in your home, but if you are not roleplaying or involved in Karma activities for an extended period of time, then please turn off your meter. All areas of the sim are RP areas, and subject to Karma and CCS rules. You are not safe from combat and cannot avoid RP while in your home. Anyone at anytime may engage you in combat or RP while in your home, but proper RP of break in/invasion must take place.
*Flying & Jump Enhancers
~Flying is not allowed in Karma. At no time are you allowed to fly through the sim, or override the NoFly option. Do not use prims for sitting, to access places you would not be able to reach otherwise. Jump enhancers are allowed on the sim for RP purposes, but NOT for use in combat, turn off jump enhancers during combat. The destruction ao, and enhancer that enhances vision ( Ie: meteors special effects, etc. Are not allowed.
*Corpse Camping
~Corpse camping is standing around a body and waiting for the defeated player to revive only to kill them immediately again. It makes no difference how the revive occurs (natural, or healer).
*Fade To Black
~You may fade to black if you have to leave for RL, or are uncomfortable in a RP and a compromise cannot be reached between players. Abusing FTB will result in disciplinary action by a Karma GM. FTB is not a way to avoid defeat, combat or RP.
*Reporting Problems
~Problems, questions and possible violations should be brought to the Karma staff. You may use the GM call button on your CCS HUD, or the Karma sim group to call for a GM. Do not use the group to harrass, spam, rant, or cause drama, simply ask for a Gm and one will respond to you.
~If you have an issue with a Karma Gm, and truly feel that you have been mistreated, or been given an unfair ruling on an issue while in Karma, please contact Papi Braveheart or Ashley Lundquist, and we will be happy to try and help you.
Remember to enjoy your time while in Karma, and to give others the same freedom while here. Everyone does not RP the same way, everyone does not speak the same language, or have the same views/opinions..please respect others, and treat them the way you would like to be treated.

Most of these observations should be used in a OOC content. In RP we expect more than observations but not mandatory. Your Role play is yours alone, we don't limit or expect para role playing. Please keep in mind all the rules of karma.
SAFE ZONE:
Arena is an OOC safe zone but not to be abused to run away from. If it is used for such please contact a Local GM, after the brief consulting the arena WILL BE A IC ZONE. Running away from your problems isn't always fun.
